January 5, 1994 FACULTY Edward Malcolm Stockton (71) Monterey Peninsula Herald, CA Jan 4, 1995 Edward Malcolm Stockton, 71, of Prunedale, a retired teacher, died Wednesday at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Mr. Stockton was born April 8, 1923, in El Monte. He had lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 42 years and in Prunedale for 14 years. He was a graduate of Whittier College and was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Stockton was a teacher at Pacific Grove High School for 30 years and was a former president of the Pacific Grove Library board. At the time of his death, he was an employment coordinator with the GAIN program. Survivors include his wife, Doris; four sons, Michael Stockton of Prunedale, John Stockton of Lafayette, Colo., James Stockton of Boise, Idaho, and Michael Waldron of Santa Clara; two daughters, Sheila Deis of Marina and Colleen Daniels of Rohnert Park; and 16 grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects from 5 yo 9 p.m. Monday at the Paul Mortuary. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Angela’s Catholic Church in Pacific Grove. Burial will follow at San Carlos Catholic Cemetery.
